Year 11 = last year of high school (secondary school) Unless there's a sixth form, (year 12) 14 year olds = Years 9/10

In year11 you are aged 15/16. Year11 is your last compulsory year of education in the UK.

Year 11 is the last year of compulsory education in the UK, students in this year group are generally 15 & 16 although in certain circumstances children may be held back or put forward a year or two. So it is uncommon to find a 14 year old in year 11 .

You are in the last year of high school, and will have less than a year left (year 11 is much shorter than other school years). However, the government has introduced a new scheme to keep kids in education so if you're of a certain age (NOT ME THOUGH, HAHAHA) you will have another three years. It is not common to have someone younger than 15 in year 11. It's more common to have people who should be in the year above in a year below that. I didn't even know they let kids go up years. Do you get to do that?? If you're immigrating to the UK, you will probably be placed in the year below than what you should be. A lot of my polish friends should be in college right now if they were in Poland, but they're stuck being in year 11 with me this year instead. :)

Its the last year you have to do. It is impossible to be 14, you have to be 15 or 16. In the UK you dont generally advance or get but back a year.
