I'm an American student at community college and was considering transferring to a school in the UK because they're cheaper (in some cases). Would I have trouble finding a job when I come back to the USA? I know problems arise if someone is pursuing a medical degree in another country, but I wasn't sure if that applied to English majors as well.

i doubt the school in the UK is cheaper for you than your community college. The prices u see online for the school is probably only for UK students as they get some of their schooling subsidized (paid for) by the government. a bachelors degree in english from the UK however should be fine to use for jobs in the US that you would get w a english degree obtained in the US. you may find problems if you are trying to get into grad school tho, esp bc most bachelors degrees in the England are only 3 years long, and you dont study many of the pre-requisites that most american degrees require.
