And you have no close friends, not a wide source of academic students, limited facilities, no activities and you're just feeling miserable at school? Because my family and I are interested in placing me at a Private all-girls BOARDING school in the UK. Is this a good idea, and what are the people like there?

Of course it's okay to move to a better school. Not everyone has that option or opportunity so be glad that you do. Boarding schools can be daunting for some, or liberating for others. I loved boarding school. It taught me a lot about independence, personal responsibility, time management, money management, etc. Some people hate boarding school, while others love it. It really depends on your personality and outlook on life and why you're there and what you hope to achieve there. Some people were sent there against their will, while others chose to go there. Can't really tell you what people are like there because every school is different and everyone is different, so you can't really generalize.
