You need a professional qualification, the PGCE, Post Graduate Certificate in Education. It`s a one year course, and I suggest that you contact your nearest teacher training college for further information.

Medical school in the UK
Medical school in the UK?
Hi I am currently a student in the US, I will be graduating next year with a BSc in Biology, I just found out today that I will have to attend a medical school in the Caribbean or the Uk because we are a British territory and I am on government scholarship here in the US. I want to know if I should take the MCATs still or shwt, where do I begin? Please help me I really need to figure this out and get plans in place. Thank you guys so much.

Well, you're in a bit of a tangle as far as the UK goes - medicine in the UK is an undergraduate degree, but you've already done your undergraduate degree.
2 :
MCATs most definitely. Best step is to get a UCAS form or similar (different from the US?) and get that filed, then you can go and apply to universities like Cambridge/Oxford/Imperial College/Kings. Do you have a group that help you make these choices? You can try Connexions as they are a company in the UK that provide help and information for applying and finding what you want to do in later life.

If the police have arrested you, there will probably be a police record of that. If you were arrested on the school premises or if you have missed classes because of being arrested, school might have made a report on this in the school files. These school files may be checked by any school who wishes to know more about your background. This mostly happens when you get in trouble during your stay there. However, if your secondary school didn't even know you got arrested, meaning it wasn't on school grounds and it didn't affect your attendance, there is no reason to list that kind of private information in your school files. Colleges and Universities don't do a criminal records check of you when you are trying to get in: that will simply cost them too much money. Take care.

It's damn near impossible to do it by yourself. I'm assuming that you're not at some kind of sixth form college at the moment, as they would be able to help you, so the only thing I can suggest is going to talk to a nearby college and ask them to help with the application procedure. The deadline is quite soon I think (it's either Feb or March) so be quick. You'll have to make a personal statement and fill in a load of online forms about your general details, up to five unis/colleges of your choice, and all acheived and projected grades for stuff like GCSEs and A-Levels. Good luck!
